Carano in the Val di Fiemme

Carano is a small town in the Val di Fiemme in Trentino situated at 1,100 meters above sea level. Carano and its outlying district have about 1,000 inhabitants and it's located a short distance from Cavalese, the largest town in the valley. Its position offers a wide panorama overlooking the whole of the Val di Fiemme with views of the Lagorai Chain and the Pale di San Martino.

Carano has been known since ancient times for its spring water, calcareous and rich in magnesium sulphate suitable for the treatment of rheumatic conditions and skin diseases, the ancient spring at Ceva can still be visited today. In addition, we recommend a walk which is one of the most beautiful in the vicinity of the town, the Trail of the Waterfalls.
